Teville Gate Demolition Officially Underway

Hughes and Salvidge have officially started a new project at Teville Gate in Worthing and work got underway in front of a select line-up of Council dignitaries, including the Mayor of Worthing, and regional media outlets.

The Mayor, Alex Harman, was joined by Worthing Borough Council Leader Dan Humphreys, Deputy Leader Kevin Jenkins and councillors Diane Guest, Ed Crouch and Paul Westover.

Adur & Worthing Councils representatives Martin Randall (Director for the Economy), James Appleton (Head of Economic Growth), Emma Davies (Economic Growth Project Manager) and Cian Cronin (Development & Regeneration Project Manager) were also present to witness our 470-excavator start work on the roof of a former Burger Bar building on part of the site.

Over the coming weeks the Teville Gate multi-storey car park, Burfree House, Fleet House, and two other structures within the site boundary will all be demolished by Hughes and Salvidge.
