Four Is The Magic Number For Our Marathon Running Managing Director

Our Managing Director, Martyn Burnett, is a seasoned marathon runner, having tackled London, Berlin and Brighton’s streets already this year. Earlier this month, he completed his fourth marathon of 2016 by taking part in the 46th New York City Marathon.

Starting in Staten Island, the runners cross over the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn and visit the remainder of New York’s five boroughs, Queens, The Bronx and Manhattan, finally finishing up in the famous Central Park.

Martyn completed the course in an impressive 3 hours and 59 minutes, raising £1550 for Two Saints, a Hampshire-based homeless charity, in the process.

Two Saints will use the funds to help clients in their Portsmouth Young Peoples services. They help and support clients towards independent living, including funding interview and work clothing, work equipment, new home starter packs, education equipment and much more. They’ll be putting the money to great use in the run up to Christmas.
