Hughes And Salvidge Agrees To Sponsorship Of Conference

We take health and safety obligations very seriously at Hughes and Salvidge, reflected by our outstanding health and safety record, widely recognised as one of the best in the demolition industry.

We therefore showed no hesitation in agreeing to sponsor this year’s Humber Major Hazards Conference, held on Thursday 21st July.

conference

Organised by HCF CATCH Ltd and attended by 70+ delegates, it sees a number of experienced industry speakers take to the stage and give their viewpoint on a range of important industry subjects.

Topics covered ranged from ‘Cyber security in the process industries’ to ‘Management of legacy Safety Instrumented Systems’.

Once the scheduled programme of talks had concluded delegates were given an opportunity to network with their fellow attendees and gain invaluable insight into how possessing a powerful health and safety culture can limit the chance of major hazards occurring.

HCGF CATCH Ltd is an industry led partnership supporting the process, energy, engineering and renewable industries in the Humber region.

The event was held at CATCH, their Stallingborough-based industrial training facility where they provide skills, training and competency solutions for industry across the UK and internationally.
