Hughes And Salvidge Site Manager Up For Top Award

Our Site Manager Pat Barter received some fantastic news last week after being informed that he has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

Pat is one of three names in the running for the title of ‘Demolition Manager of the Year’ at the Demolition Awards 2016, a long-running annual awards event organised by the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC).

The NFDC has existed for over 75 years and is widely considered to be the voice of the global demolition industry.

The winner of the category, which seeks to highlight those who have ‘made outstanding progress leading by example, completing projects with exemplary standards of safety, on time and within budget’, will also take away a cheque for £1,000 and trophy.

The awards ceremony is due to take place on Friday 4th March at the world-renowned Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane in London.

Host for the evening is quick witted TV personality and former Conservative MP Giles Brandreth, a regular correspondent on The One Show and occasional guest on Have I Got News For You and Countdown.

Just being nominated is a huge achievement for Pat. We wish him the best of the luck and all have our fingers crossed for him.
