Merry Christmas From Hughes And Salvidge

We hope you enjoy a memorable Christmas just like we’ve enjoyed another memorable year, and what better time to reflect on it.

2014 was a landmark year for Hughes and Salvidge, seeing the business reach its 50th year in decommissioning and demolition, and thankfully 2015 has been no less eventful.

One of our biggest achievements was creating history and becoming the first demolition company anywhere in the world to accomplish the Carbon Trust Standard for Carbon Reduction. We also launched our Green Hands initiative as further proof of our ‘Green’ credentials.

Walking away with an International Safety Award was another major highlight and we have of course worked on some fantastic high-profile projects throughout the year including Project Wellesley in Aldershot and Castle Market in Sheffield. Our work at Corunna Barracks in Ludgershall even made it onto the local news.

This constant influx of work has also seen us significantly invest in new machinery such as the state-of-the-art Hitachi ZX870 excavator.

However, none of the above would be possible without our clients who so generously continue to show us their support, for which we are always thankful.

So, please have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing what lies ahead in 2016.
