Hughes And Salvidge Shoots Carbon Film Out On Location
Will Spong 10th July 2015
Sustainability
Following on from Hughes and Salvidge recently achieving the Carbon Trust Standard for Carbon Reduction, we have recorded a video dedicated to this ever important subject.
Filmed yesterday at one of our demolition sites in Aldershot, the video will be uploaded to our website and is designed to tell our customers more about what the Carbon Trust is and why we sought certification in the area of Carbon.
The Carbon Trust is a not-for-dividend company that helps organisations reduce their carbon emissions and become more resource efficient by providing expert help, support and advice.
We were therefore extremely proud to become the first demolition company globally to receive such an endorsement from them.
It recognises our on-going efforts to reduce resource use and waste to industry-leading levels and offers proof to customers that we are committed to sustainability.
Carbon reduction is imperative if we are to lessen the impact of climate change and preserve the environment, with businesses such as ours having a big role to play.
The video features the Managing directors of the Carbon Trust and Hughes and Salvidge, Darran Messem and Martyn Burnett (as shown in the photograph), along with Tony Jack who is the SHEQ Manager at Hughes and Salvidge.
Everyone did a wonderful job and we are looking forward to launching this on our website next month once the editing has been completed.
