Health & Safety Acknowledgement For Hughes And Salvidge
Will Spong 18th March 2015
Hughes and Salvidge takes Health and Safety requirements extremely seriously and always does its best to meet them to the very highest of standards.
We have in fact been recognised on several occasions for our commitment to Health and Safety, most recently when we were honoured with a ‘Merit’ by the British Council and handed an International Safety Award.
The International Safety Awards are an annual scheme designed to highlight and reward good health and safety management by organisations of all sizes and in all sectors around the world during the previous calendar year.
We were one of just over 500 companies globally to win an International Safety Award.
Neal Stone, acting chief executive of the British Safety Council, said: “The success criteria for the International Safety Awards is challenging and that rightly reflects the importance of achieving good standards of health and safety at work.
“These awards shine a light on businesses taking sensible and effective steps to protect employees from the risks of work-related injury and ill health, celebrating their efforts and encouraging other employers everywhere to give workers’ health and safety the priority it rightly deserves.”
A Gala Dinner is being held at London’s Grosvenor House on Friday 24th April where the winners’ achievements will be formally acknowledged.
