Hughes and Salvidge Seek Independent Accreditation for Carbon Reduction

Over recent years at Hughes and Salvidge we have been working hard to reduce our carbon footprint.  Our activities span from updating our plant to machines with lower emissions right though to planting trees on a staff away days to offset our carbon footprint.  In light of this we have applied to an independent organisation to become accredited with them in the area of carbon reduction.  We feel that achieving an independent accreditation in this area publicly recognises our organisation's efforts in reducing our carbon emissions and provides tangible proof to employees, shareholders as well as customers and suppliers that we are committed to making future reductions.
